lets you design your own dream guitar! Choose from nearly 25 different body colors and wood types in solid, metallic and translucent finishes. We also offer over 20 different necks with various pearl and abalone inlays available in rosewood, maple and flamed maple. Choose from a wide variety of pickguards as well as hardware options available in chrome, gold or black. Pickup options are 3-single coils or 2-singles and a humbucker. Choose from a wide range of pickup options ranging from great sounding economy pickups to Wilkinson's and Seymour Duncan's. You have to see all the options to believe it!! And here's the best part.......instead of the typical $1500 and up for a custom guitar...you can own a BUILDANAX Custom Guitar at a starting price of $590!! YES, you are reading this right and NO, there is not a catch.....we are building high quality custom solid body guitars that are hand assembled right here in the USA for a starting price of under $600. You decide how elaborate you want to make it. All necks are HAND FRET DRESSED in our shop. All body cavities and pickguards are shielded with Cu-ProCote copper shielding paint to minimize RF interference. All necks have graphite nuts for smooth and stable tuning. Each guitar is hand assembled at our shop in Easley SC (near Greenville). It is absolutely the most bang for the buck that you will find ANYWHERE for a custom instrument. A complete display of BUILDANAX components and guitars can be seen at Eastside Guitars on Woodruff Road in Greenville or by appointment at our shop/showroom in Easley SC (on hwy 123 beside The Music Maker). (We hope you understand our position on this.) We also offer a selection of unfinished bodies in mahogany, flamed top ash and quilted top ash for those who may want to do their own custom finish.
